Fox News host Tucker Carlson said there are unanswered questions about the brief disappearance of a package containing a flash drive with documents related to the Biden family’s business ventures.

On his show Thursday, one day after he announced that the package had disappeared, Carlson addressed how UPS tracked down the missing parcel but was unable to answer how the flash drive was separated from the envelope that contained it.

“The envelope was securely sealed, we know that,” Carlson said on Thursday. “Two witnesses saw our producer seal it, and UPS does not dispute that. Was the package torn open accidentally by a machine? That seems unlikely. UPS says that almost never happens. So, we’re left with the obvious explanation. Someone, for some reason, opened our package and removed a flash drive containing documents that were damaging to the Biden family. We would love to know who would do that and why.”

Comments Echo CEO’s Concern of ‘Disruption’ With Spike

The President of the union representing UPS airline pilots has said he agrees with UPS CEO Carol Tomé’s concern that a spike in COVID-19 cases among the pilots has the potential to disrupt the Company’s operations.

In comments made to investors yesterday, Tomé said that “there is a big watch out” with cases spiking that could lead to a disruption in UPS operations should the increase impact the Company’s pilots. “We’re just watching this very, very closely,” she added.

Robert Travis, a UPS A300 Captain and President of the Independent Pilots Association (“IPA”) wrote Tomé today (click here to read letter) confirming that the UPS pilot group is “indeed experiencing a significant increase in the number of pilots testing positive for the virus.”

United Parcel Service has stepped up its game plan to take on the holiday season rush, Carol Tomé, who joined the shipping company as chief executive in June, told CNBC Wednesday.

“We’re planning a pretty peaky peak, and peak is so important to our customers that we’ve been planning for this for months,” she said in a “Mad Money” interview.

Tomé, who was previously Home Depot’s decades-long chief finance officer, brushed off any worries of what some are predicting to be a “shipageddon” this quarter, where delivery services like UPS and FedEx are projected to see a severe capacity shortfall of millions of packages per day. Delivery demand is only expected to swell amid the pandemic.

UPS said Thursday it found a package that Fox News host Tucker Carlson complained the night before had never made its way to him. Carlson said on his Fox News show Wednesday that he was expecting a package containing some kind of incriminating information related to Democratic nominee Joe Biden, but it never showed up.

“After an extensive search, we have found the contents of the package and are arranging for its return,” UPS told TheWrap. “UPS will always focus first on our customers, and will never stop working to solve issues and make things right. We work hard to ensure every package is delivered, including essential goods, precious family belongings and critical healthcare.”

There was no word on how soon the package might be delivered to Carlson. A representative for Fox News did not immediately return a request for comment.
