I'm a huge fan of what our grandparents and parents used to tell us. To work hard, give it your all and dont be afraid to get your hands dirty. And some day, someone will notice you, and doors will open up for you. Here at UPS, that doesnt happen thanks to senority. And yet it still doesnt faze me. My ethics are in stone, I will never sway from them. You think paying stupid dues defines you as be just or better then others, well then it means you just have lost your ways in life. How about I live my life as I see fit? How about you mind your own damn buisness and get a life of your own you can do with as please. To me the way its being said on this thread is scary. " Hes not doing what we want! GET HIM!!!11  ". You'll should be ashamed and take a moment to look at what you are saying and doing. The union now, has run is course. It is old and out of date on the needs you drivers need now. Does it stop them pushing over hours, do they stop the harassment or anything else? It slows for a week or so, but it keeps coming. The union only cares about its dues, nothing else. They couldnt careless about you, only that you make them money. As for being a freeloader, ha, is to laugh. I get worked over 5 days a week, bust my rump and feel like the car ran me over other then loading it to have near 300 bucks a week, and thats after being here 5 years. Its to laugh, I bet most of you came from real easy jobs. Unload, load, small sort, clerk and so on and so on. No wonder you complain at getting a driving job where you have to actually work. Its too bad, its a crying shame.
