If the lawyer you are talking about is Paul T....r at least he has won many cases against UPS. I dont know if you remember any arbitrations from last year but we were 0-9 in the last few months. To me , that looks like a serious problem and needs a quick resolution. I mean 0-9 gosh darn we have problems and I will agree its time to change lawyers. I can give you two ex drivers phone numbers and they will agree its time to change them. Why would you knock the decision to change them? I really dont know what you are thinking. Do you really hate the new board that bad? what reason?

I am not sure you understand that the health fund was in arbitration at the exact moment the new slate took office. There is no time to take on the company, it is far past that point. I will look for the dol stuff again.

Actually Tie, a few stepped down as soon as the new board was inducted and I swear it was the best thing that happened. There were more than a few ready to step up to the plate and represent the members. Two of the stewards that stepped down were promised the next business agent position when they came available , too bad lol.

This list of 108 seriously underfunded union pension plans is from a September 2009 report by Moody's.
Ideally a plan should be 100% funded or better. Those funds below 80% funded are Endangered. Those below 65% funded are Critical. My New England fund, near the bottom, must be on life support.
