I was almost at the yard with a trailer from the bay area when heard on the radio that a "light" air craft had flown into the WTC. The announcer thought it strange that a small plane would crash like that. It wasn't until i was back in the yard fueling that people realized it may be more than that.By the time i got home it was all over the TV and we saw the other plane hit . Had to go to bed to sleep during the day so I could work that night. When got up found out about the 2 other planes. My sister was supposed to be on the plane that left Logan airport in Boston but she missed the flight. All I can remember mostly is about being angry. Very angry and that I wanted Bush to do something about it. The whole country was angry and wanted action. Remember many veterans calling their branches to see if they could get into the fight. It was really incredible how the whole nation seemed ready for a fight.
