In context of where you are in the country, the amount can make you a very well off employee. For me...living in Southern California is VERY expensive. I can only imagine being in the Midwest making that money, I'd live like a king! :cowboy::happy-very:

$122k in NJ is a ton if you don't have kids. I'd be living large with that salary.

40 hours a week at $18.75 is $39,000 per year
Say you earn 10 hours overtime each week, that's another $14,625 per year
Total = $53,625 minus taxes

Not a whole lot, really. But 3 years down the line you're making what, $25 per hour? That would be about $71,000 minus taxes in the same 10 hour OT situation.

How the hell is anyone making $122k a year driving?

That’s Craptacular
We have one extra day of work in 2015. 4th of July is on a Saturday.
Depending on your supplement, are we entitled to a floating holiday to make up for that? I believe a few years ago (its a blur so it's hard to remember)....when Christmas Day was on a weekend....we got an extra floating holiday for that.

I hear the new state motto for New Jersey is "Sit down and shut the hell up!"

$33.80x70(60 hrs but figure time and a half)=$2,366

$2,366x52=$123,032. Now that's not including doubles which if you did everyday would only be an extra 1500 roughly I didn't do the math for doubles.

Just think if you work 60 hours a week compared to 40 you will gross almost $53,000 more. But for those of you who have families and don't want to spend that much time here you have options.

Is there really anyone out there who is willing to work
thru their vacation weeks to make 6 figures?

Make enough to live comfortably, put something away
for retirement, and be happy.
