It seems to have made it more affordable and accessible to the people that could not have afforded or access health care before. The ACA is doing what it was intended for.

That will be over in a couple of years.

Affordability was just to lure in the weak minded.

Big price increases are coming.

There has already been a bill proposed to put them on it. I oppose adding more people to it though. It's been a disaster so far.

If you have had 30% to 60% increases in the past, you'd be paying $5000 a month for health insurance.

The seven years before Obamacare the TOTAL increase was 50%, and that was for 7 years.

Perhaps I wasn't clear. The rate increases have been the same only the starting amount was lower and shopping for new policies easier. Insurance companies aren't going with 30 to 60% increases because that would kill their golden goose.

ACA narrows the doctors that you would want to see .
Should you get a major illness , some of the best doctors for that field will be denied to you.
Unless you can pay them from your own savings .

I'm sorry but people that compare (and support) being required to purchase a product and being fined for not doing so to being required to buy insurance for a product that we can choose not to purchase and without a penalty are VERY FREAKIN FAR from having a clue.

And I'd add that unless your condition does actually require emergency medical treatment then stay the hell out of the ER.
