He was never given and orders and even if the 911 dispatcher had told him not to follow it would not be a lawful order since the dispatcher is not a police officer and has no legal authority. Both Zimmerman and Martin were breaking no laws and both had the right to walk around. Martin did not have the right to assault Zimmerman. That is why it was self defense for Zimmerman. It is a tragedy and there needs to be discussions of what happened but in a constructive way to prevent future tragedies. Rioting and screaming "Justice for Trayvon!" achieves nothing except create a stumbling block for useful dialogs.
