Anyone drive an electric, hybrid electric or CNG package car? How are they? Do you like them?

    Not here.

I bet IE is looking at a self-powered package car. I can see it now, big pedals, chain, and sprocket in the cab.

All that mechanical nonsense costs money, I'm thinking more like Fred Flintstone.

It is funny because UPS now has to spend money on Hybrid trucks and they have no choice.

why is it funny that UPS has to spend money on alternative fueled vehicles? Dont you think its a good idea for them to invest money in this? It benefits everyone.

Because if they had a choice they wouldnt. Just like safety features on the trucks.

This is a tangent, but I test drove a Prius on my last vacation and I really liked the vehicle. Believe it or not, hybrid vehicles are causing a concern among our vision impaired population as they rely on hearing approaching vehicles and these hybrids are very hard to hear. Sorry for the tangent.
