seems walmart is stepping up to their "Xmas in July" promo by offering similar sales on their website & you don't have to pay the $100 fee to be a prime member at wally-world

They have also lowered the amount you have to spend to get free shipping to $5.

Why don't they just give it away?

So these 2 companies are basically in a shipping war. And I'll be the first to say I felt the difference today, my stop count was 30 over what i usually, and last week it was abnormally light. These sales must have something to do with it

i dunno about others, but 80% of my cargo were amazon, walmart, target boxes on Fri and Sat... the rest were a few Dells, wine, perishables from NutriSystem, flowers/plants

Our station had one of the lightest Saturdays ever. I think the "big" sale offered a lot of junk at mediocre prices.

The home delivery guy in the town I was in had 130 stops

Amazon is one of the reasons I'm about to leave. I'm not feeling this convenience economy anymore. In a few years they'll bump the poundage to 200lbs. This s for the birds.
