Unfortunately people making $15hr or less aren't going to give a flip about people making $25hr and wanting more. Are you sure they don't?

I think you're wrong about that. The general public rallies behind nurses when they go on strike and some of them make up words of $75 an hour out here in California.Unfortunately people making $15hr or less aren't going to give a flip about people making $25hr and wanting more.
Did you and your fellow couriers rally behind fast food workers?I think you're wrong about that. The general public rallies behind nurses when they go on strike and some of them make up words of $75 an hour out here in California.
As a matter of fact a few of us did.Did you and your fellow couriers rally behind fast food workers?
Well there you go then.As a matter of fact a few of us did.
I'd be very happy to make up words for only $40 or $50 an hour. I'm flibbin' great at that sort of proggity! The general public rallies behind nurses when they go on strike and some of them make up words of $75 an hour out here in California.
Then what are you doing at eggspress?I'd be very happy to make up words for only $40 or $50 an hour. I'm flibbin' great at that sort of proggity!
He's living out his life in quiet desperation. Then what are you doing at eggspress?
ahhh, if only I could be granted a do-over (sigh)Then what are you doing at eggspress?
Just because you don't........The "public eye"? Aside from here, I've heard nothing about it. Are you sure the public even cares?
The only way Amazon can offer free two day shipping through FedEx is FedEx makes a very good deal with them. If FedEx has to pay us more those kind of deals go away. The public doesn't want to pay more for shipping so don't expect big rallies on our behalf. Nurses have a much more favorable relationship with the public.I think you're wrong about that. Sorry van but that's the bs FedEx management has been feeding us for years. UPS shows us that it can be done. They pay industry leading pay and benefits while moving the most volume of any carrier. The only way Amazon can offer free two day shipping through FedEx is FedEx makes a very good deal with them. UPS delivers a lot more prime than us, that argument doesn't make too much sense bud.The only way Amazon can offer free two day shipping through FedEx is FedEx makes a very good deal with them. Yes but UPS has lower costs per pkg than Express inspite of the higher pay. They handle much more freight than Express because they're obviously much cheaper than Express. Thus the lower per pkg cost plus the high volume equals a substantial profit. But will that hold up with Ground costing less than UPS?Sorry van but that's the bs FedEx management has been feeding us for years. UPS shows us that it can be done. I'm not defending FedEx, just looking at what's going on. The only way FedEx can get Prime deliveries in substantial numbers is by making it worthwhile for Amazon. Amazon isn't going to offer free shipping and then pay full fare to Express, they'd lose money. If FedEx raises pay substantially they'll also have to raise rates to pay for it and thus it'll cost Amazon more to use Express. FedEx isn't going to deliver Prime at a loss. Bottom line FedEx is most likely not going to raise pay this summer, and the rumors about something coming out soon about pay was most likely the just announced rules changes concerning short term disability and FMLA.UPS delivers a lot more prime than us, that argument doesn't make too much sense bud.
