The DIAD III is what they are using here for the Helpers during peak. Driver has his DIAD IV which he will occasionally handoff to get a signature when he has loaded the data but man I won't go there on any training in what to do next lol. Thanks cpio for a good concrete suggestion. I don't know what is contained on UPSers.com but it seems reasonable to look there. Unfortunately, you need your Employee ID from your paycheck to create an account and verify your eligibility by constructing your PIN. By the time next Friday comes along and I get that info I will either have learned (or be better at faking learned lmao) or quit in frustration. I will try to contact HR or maybe the driver helper coordinator and see what I can get prior to then. But thanks, seems like a good idea. Anyone who has access to UPSers.com know or can check if DIAD III training material is on there? Also cpio mentioned looking over the intranet from within the Hub or trying to get an instruction card from one of the dispatchers. I just recall another new hire asking at the "training" if they were going to get an ID badge, and the reply was "No, you shouldn't ever be back here" (which I understand why NOT at this point on the photo ID, but not the concept of not feeling welcome back at the Hub.... we ARE supposed to be employees now! and should be able to make use of resources as needed). Brownblue's approach is anything but lame. Sure beats the printed materials management gave out :) Conveying the sequential thought process behind how the machine is layed out would make such a difference. "Bless You" VoiceofReason for training those Helpers.... your nickname seems very fitting btw :) How do I get you to spend an hour with me or most of our guys? Glad you were able to help out some of the new guys. Any other lines on proper training material or help would be greatly appreciated. I'm trying hard to get what should already have been given out and covered by management, seems so silly. Just want to look good to my Driver, work hard, and be more efficient. Isn't that what helps management increase productivity too? Gotta wonder.
