UPS support of Bob Vandergriff's Top Fuel dragster ended last month. Will UPS emerge as the sponsor on another car in '09?

Speaking of rumors, we keep hearing that NHRA is holding firm with the UPS folks that if they are going to remain the Official Shipper of the NHRA that they will have to be a major sponsor on a car and that UPS will announce at some point sponsorship of an NHRA professional team. Just guessing, but wouldn’t it make sense for Warren or Kurt Johnson to perhaps get the nod from UPS? [11/18/2008]
With GM pulling the plug on racing sponsorships, father and son Johnson are both looking for $$$$ help.
