Good to have this out. And spare us the abuse and smartass remarks on the DVIR when things don't go well. I am very good at what I do, but perfection is hard to pull off with the given conditions.

The mechanics in my building are the nicest guys....they let me use their coffeepot in the shop during peak.

Apparently...they have one in the shop. OMS has one in the center's office but she wont let us use it. I bought the mechanics a few cans of coffee...and I had fresh hot coffee all last peak. I don't get a lunch break so it's much appreciated.

That, and I've learned that when you treat the mechanics nice, and you keep your truck clean, your truck usually moves to the front of the line for repairs. They also put them back in the line-up quicker. Win-win.

Wish this was widely understood. Lots of my drivers are pigs or want to pick a fight with me.
My mechanic,just put brand new rear heavy springs on for me! Raised the back of the truck up,about 2 inches.
Also installed a new seatbelt. He is a good dude!

I had, for probably 26 of my 34 years the same mechanic. Great guy, awesome mechanic. I told him numerous times that if he quit and opened his own shop that I'd be his first customer.

He did put In all new LED lights,about a month ago. I really appreciate them,this time of year.!

I am slowly upgrading all my cars that are likely to be around for some time.
They make a huge difference.

Also gives the car a fighting chance when they get left of Friday nights.
They took out that stupid timer. Your lights would go out,after 4 minutes.
