This sez alot IMO.
Also Mussolini penned the "Doctrine of Fascism" and would be a worthwhile read IMO and then compare this doctrine to the actions of FDR and the US gov't since then.
Mussolini - THE DOCTRINE OF FASCISM
America may not be a true Fascist state but it does exhibit some elements. I may also add that America is not a communist nation either but it has adopted all 10 planks of Marx's Communist Manifesto in some form or another. Also below are 14 points that make up signs of a Fascist gov't.
Fourteen Defining Characteristics Of Fascism
I don't think any of us see ourselves as voters to support either one or both of these type of political fixtures but we have allowed ourselves into being used so that some can further these goals as public policy under the guise of addressing public needs. I believe in that respect we are being conned because the goal is not serving the greater good but rather self serving to the elite few.
