Black Friday Pick Up Volume

I was horribly wrong.

Today was super heavy, plus we had late air. The PO sort was not done when we left, so they sent out bags with late air. I got 4 PO bags and 8 loose boxes for the PO, only 2 air packages. I hope this is not how it goes for the rest of peak.

Yeah our post office sort is always late. Been a lot of sups shuttling and delivering it. We were swamped today actually ran out of trucks. I'm hoping this is a fluke week if not I don't think we can get it all done. Had 8 fewer routes than dispatch called for today maybe 10% of the drivers back before 8:30. This is why we r the best in the business though.

I'm currently out on the sidelines with a work injury. Been out since 8/31. Missing the extra money from this time of year. I usually would take the wife to this ritzy restaurant in early Jan. Doesn't look like it this year.
