We had a 22ft Checkmate growing up. I bought a Baja 226 sport when I first started driving. Sold her about 4 years ago to finish my pilots license. Miss the water but don't miss the headache that came with it.

Strength through joy
I enjoy lobstering ( been doing it for over 40 Yrs ), in close to the rocks .
I had quite a few sink or get smashed up .
Finding another one is never a problem . Many times I am offered a free boat just to take one off of someone hands .
I like the 4 stroke engines of today , really quiet .
May to Oct is a normal year for me .
With a few traps left in for the winter which I row to , weather permitting .
