When a part time supervisor is a smart ass they get no respect from workers. Unfortunately the young kids they get to be supervisors don't realize that.

During peak I was put outsiders on rollers . the trucks numbers were inconsistent each day. As the day started the outside crew was inspecting the packages figuring out the trucks order. A typically bad mood sup walks by and yells at all of us to "get the friend back to work" without time to explain what was going on. I just laughed at him as I had just seen the union rep walk by . I found and told the union rep what had been said and happened and he made that sup come out and apologize to us. Now he won't even look my way. Problem solved.

When I worked inside the building years ago a then part time sup.(now full time) was handing out $5 bills in the unload if people could unload the truck in the amount of time he asked.

This... You get paid for every hour he works, and they'll likely move you two away from each other. Mgmt cannot handle packages per the contract.
