Busy "one way" streets???

How do you guys handle busy one way streets. I have this one street that I dread. Its a pretty long one way and its in the city so most of the people take a bus or walk to work so there is noooowhere ever to pull over.


Itll be like

1201 1203 1210 1214 1217 2123 2140 2147 and so on..

I try to organize before I go to the street so I can just be in and out but when their is a sig (which actually happens ALOT on this street) im waiting for them to come to the door and just see the traffic backing up and everyone beeping at me.

When someone starts blowing the horn,I just tell them I'm broke down.

Yes ....but then they start swearing etc ....and it can escalate..especially when you start firing back...can get nasty

Section I deliver in has 8 one way streets, if I cannot get on a curb the street gets blocked. They can wait a couple of minutes

I never block traffic on a 1way street. It's a move. Handtruck it in (you get paid by the hour) or park partially on the sidewalk as long as pedestrians and cars can still safely get by. If you get a parking ticket, just give it to your sup.

I usually just wave a friendly "sorry". Whatever really.

We have a lot of those here. If it's a "busy" one lane road then I do all odds and evens separate. I don't run across the street.

I personally like to sort them before I actually deliver them just to speed the process.

Also I break away during low traffic times. Here it's 11am to 2pm.
