Again, you dont know crap about the situation.

The gas leak is a disaster to the communities, and by the way, its near MY home, so dont pretend to know more about this situation than I do.

There is a lot more going on than you could possibly know about.

TOS.

Hey Nostradamus you live in the same state in which that cemetery shooting took place and you were wrong about the ethnicity of the shooter so what do you know?

I love California for the weather but our politics is another issue...

Los Angeles Starting Legal Defense Fund For Immigrants

The city of Los Angeles announced they will launch a $10 million legal defense fund for immigrants facing deportation.

Los Angeles Mayor Eric Garcetti declared the introduction of the L.A. Justice Fund on Monday – a $10 million-dollar war chest funded by the city of Los Angeles, the County of Los Angeles, and outside parties to assist with immigrants’ legal costs.

Just 14 years after state regulators took over the Oakland Unified School District and used taxpayer cash to bail it out, the school district has managed to land itself in another huge financial crisis.

SHOCKER: Oakland Public Schools Are Already Broke Again After 2003 Bailout
clearly the result of a racist system.
Clearly the consequence of charter schools.
Time to ask the teacher unions and the administrations to take a pay cut , you know for the good of the children .

SHOCKER: Oakland Public Schools Are Already Broke Again After 2003 Bailout
"The district has a problem with exploding special education costs, too. It spends $5.3 million per year to send 175 special education students to outside vendors for services. By way of comparison, the nearby San Francisco Unified School District sends just 130 kids to outside special education providers — but enrolls 20,000 more students."

It's a shame they can't do what the charter schools do and just refuse to enroll the difficult kids.

If you had read the articles linked, you would know that administration has cut their budget, bigly. The problem is charter schools.

I hope to hell trump fixes that.

Just tell Gov. Moonbeam to move all the funds set aside to help the illegals and use it to fix the dam .
See crisis averted .

The Feds did give money to California for infrastructure and they spent the money on another dam that didn't need it as badly and more important things like putting in pretty sidewalks in cities.

Obama Stimulus Funds Went to California Dam in ‘Good Shape,’ But Not Oroville
Despite more than a decade of warnings about Oroville, there is no public record of the country’s tallest dam receiving any of the more than $34 billion from the American Recovery and Reinvestment Act sent to California for infrastructure projects.

Over $22 million in stimulus funds did go toward safety improvements to the Folsom Dam, which was described as in “good shape” at the time the grant was awarded in 2009.

“The dam is in good shape but is starting to show its age,” a Bureau of Reclamation spokesperson said of the Folsom Dam at the time.

The stimulus was intended to "shore up the nation’s aging infrastructure," said Rep. Mike Thompson, a Democrat who served California’s 1st District before being redistricted to the 5th.

Stimulus projects awarded to the state included $2.2 million for "more attractive" sidewalks and $2.5 million for a 205-acre "zero net energy" community on the University of California Davis campus to put a greater "emphasis on walking" and bicycling.
