cdl

I am a part time dock worker but I want to get my cdl so I can become full time. I was wondering would ups pay for me to go to a driving school ? I know they pay for employes who go to normal school

Thanks for the help

To be the man, you gotta beat the man.
Not sure how freight is, but regular UPS trains you, and takes you to go get your license at the end of two weeks.

Lunch is the best part of the day
Regular ups only trains full timers. Part time employees can use the earn and learn to get cdl from a community college

Must be different everywhere. I was part time I had to buy my permit and then they trained me for 2 weeks and took me for my test.

Itis in the contract that the company will help part-timers and full timers get their CDL license usually on Saturdays here in Kansas City they will have a full-time trainer come in and be with you all day while he makes overtime of course and you're on your own time
