I can say personally I have had very good experience with red wing boots, they are comfortable, have many different varieties, shapes and obviously sizes, and I'll tell ya the sole grip will probably outlast any boot I've ever seen but to each his own

If you find a pair you like, get a 2nd pair right away and switch pair every other day. It gives them a chance to dry out, so the do not stink, plus they will last more than twice as long as just one pair.

I have 2 pair of Whites oxfords that are 10 years old. They have both been rebuilt and are ready for another 10 years.
