Child's size uniform needed-help!

U

ups man wanna be

Guest
My 3 year old absolutely loves our UPS man and wants to be him for Halloween. I need help finding a child's size uniform. I have found the shirt and hat in the promo catalog but it doesn't come with the shorts. We have to have the brown shorts! Does anyone know where I can get the brown shorts in size 4? If not, how about the brown fabric?

I just searched eBay. There are a bunch of them listed. Just type UPS costume in the search bar. I bought one for my grandson. He looks cute in it.

Yes, my daughter anyway. She just bought one for my grandson last week. Gotta admit he looks pretty cute in it. They were looking for costumes online and he saw this one and said he wanted to be like grampa.

Oh, that's just the cutest picture!

Wonder if the Goodwill or Salvation Army store would have any shorts in a close enough color. Have fun, they grow up toooooo fast.

About 10 years ago my wife made a Halloween costume for my son, dyed shorts brown and a shirt, got the kids hat out of the catalog. We put a bunch of tracking labels on a box and he won first place in a local contest. I think we still have the outfit somewhere.(yes sad I know:ashamed:)

You can buy a kid's sized uniform through Corporate Express.

It comes with a embroidered hat and shirt. A Next Day Air envelope is included as well. No pants but any brown shorts or pants should work. To be more authentic, add brown socks, black shoes and a old box with a UPS label on it to the costume. Also, Blackbox's suggestion of using an oversized calculator as a DIAD board is an excellent idea. Good luck and if your kid's in my area, let him know that I'll be overdispatched that day and I will need his help as a driver helper so have him ready for me! :)

I bought one for my son last year. It isn't a whole costume. Just a shirt, hat , and a little portfolio thing that looks like a NDA letter. He wears the shirt to school and out in public and people always stare and make comments about how cute he is. Beware of the quality though. Or lack of. About the same as our real uniforms. They don't have buttons and use velcro instead. It wears out rather quickly.

My center manager is just a shade over 5' tall--I'm sure he would lend you his uniform for the night.
I see the sign posted next to the truck -"If you are this tall than you can drive this truck":happy-very: UHe must of had fun reaching the top shelf when standing in the back of an old P1000.

Thanks Dillweed, he is a cutie.
This costume came with a shirt, hat, and pants

Very nice picture, dizzee. Wish I could hot rod around town in one of those trucks, though it would need a trailer hitch. Those costumes are available here in Florida at a store aptly titled Party City/party Supermarket.
