Coke, UPS on top brands list - MSN
Two of Atlanta’s best-known companies have landed on the 2009 Davis Brand Capital 25 list.
Making the cut were The Coca-Cola Co. (NYSE: KO) at No. 16 and United Parcel Service Inc. (NYSE: UPS) at No. 22.
Davis Brand Capital said its list “evaluates brand beyond its traditional marketing function and considers it as an amalgam of intangibles creating value in the intellectual economy.” The ranking compares brand value, competitive performance, innovation strength, company culture and social impact.
