I was informed that someone witnessed a supervisor filling out safety assessements for his work group.

I believe this person. This has obvious implications if it is a widespread practice.

Has anyone else ever come across this sort of thing?

My source came back to me today told me the supervisor was taking the assessements for his work group.

He said this is being done to keep the people at their jobs and to save hours.

He said this is a widespread practice.

He said the part-time supervisors say they know this is wrong but they are afraid to do anything about it and are just doing what they are told.

I tend to think that they are stealing employee time. And they're shafting themselves time wise by making it seem they can run a full sort and have employees do safety certifications. I wouldn't care if they didn't pound safety down my throat and not practice it.
