Conflict of interest?

Does anyone know if we (ups employees) can work at the UPS STORES in addition to working at UPS?
I do Pre-load, and also do Saturday Airs and run some stops during the week....but last week I was told that I won't be able to run airs no more (not during the week, and no more Sat.)
Anyhow, need to find some part-time after UPS, so I was just wondering about the UPS STORE.

I know of no reason you couldn't. I see no conflict of interest. If you have the ability to easily contact HR, ask them. Let's see what others say.

I will ask HR tomorrow....even though every time I ask them something, the usual response is to call the (800) number, je je je.

I understand that they are independently owned....my gut tells me that it wouldn't be a conflict of interest.

OO is owner operated, an idependent franchisee type thing
