"The ship was called the Norway."

Funny Norway story. We were on the Disney Magic leaving St. Maarten, the Magic having been at a dock. We were cruising toward the Norway, which as Area43 says, was being tendered offshore. As a ship passes a moored ship, it has to blast its horns. Well, the Magics horn is the toon of "When you wish upon a star". The best part was the Norway answering with their horn while trying to play "When you wish"!! We were in hysterics!

LMAO, Curious .95 We went on the Norway cruise in August of 2002. It was a 7 day cruise. I wonder if we were there during the same time. I don't remember tripping over(he he) anyone at St Maarten. I do remember feeling pretty relaxed on that island. Bottoms up. Knock em down. LOL Just think we could have crossed paths and not even know it. Small world isn't it. I really loved that ride as a kid. I still do.

Hey Scratch,
I just saw this thread. I dont check in here too often. There's been some good info posted above. Ive been on about 40 cruises or so. Alaska,Hawaii,Bermuda,Russia/Scandinavia,Mediterreanean,Panama Canal and the Caribbean. One was a Celebrity cruise and the rest Royal Caribbean. Royal has a good mix of people usually and its not too stuffy. There's lots of activities on the ship also.

I actually got off the Freedom of the Seas today. The ports of call were San Juan,St Thomas, and St Maartin. Its a huge ship if you like that. Ice skating rink, rock climbing wall, and Flow Rider(surfing/boogie board). It actually has a Promenade(mall) on the inside of the ship. So you could get an inside cabin and have a window to look out on the shops, bars, etc. Some pics here

This question isn't so silly, if you went to a strict catholic school.
I often times took guilty pleasure in running up the down staircase, until Sister Johathan corrected me with her ruler. You know the kind, 3ft long with a metal edge.
She explained to me it was for an orderly exit in case the school was on fire and the rules must be obeyed.
Stupidly, I told her if the school was on fire I would jump out the window.
I got whacked again.
So maybe, there are alot of people that went thru the same kind of training.

Didn’t realize this thread was so old. I will never go on a cruise again. Did one.

Have fun pooping in a bag and leaving it in the hallway!!!
I went on one.....Carribean on Carnival....hated it and also swear off all cruising. If you start losing in the casino, you can't move and go elsewhere!!

I always wanted to go on one until I heard that booze wasn't included in the price of the ticket. WTF is with that?
