Is it a pm Air route? If so that half of your day will be pretty cake, you will have mostly letterboxes and maybe a few pick-ups + on demand pick ups and deliveries every once in a while. The loading will be more physically demanding.

The "cake" half may not be so easy depending on the route and p/u volume. Wait till you brick out a 5 or 700 and tell me how cake it is.

There are decent inside/air jobs but here, anyway, they are bid by seniority, so the new hires end often end up with a miserable job. Either through bid or bump.

PM air driver was the only enjoyable position I've held at UPS. Driving 180 miles round trip doing 4 pick ups is pretty nice, especially when it's mostly letters.
