How does everyone like this idea? Leave the democrats in power and this is what will happen.

The real elephant in the room is the growing trouble with public pension funds for public employees. Here's one non-state solution that clears the books from the backs of taxpayers and salvages the situation for public employees with assets that could grow and do very well for them if they are willing to put in the effort. Very much a free market approach IMO too.
