Greece's social expenditures don't even make it into the top 10 of European countries. There are many countries in Europe that are far more socialist than Greece and they are doing quite well.

Please tell me how a tiny economy like Greece equates with the US economy? And why is Obama a "socialist" when he has basically been Wall Street's little biotch for both his terms? Capitalists have never had it so good. All one has to do is look at the concentration of wealth at the top, and the gutting of the middle class...by Republicans.

Authorities say a probation officer who is married to a North Carolina state senator has been charged with the attempted rape of one of his probationers.
The State Bureau of Investigation said in a news release Monday that 49-year-old Maud Edwin Elliott Ingram is charged with attempted second-degree rape and faces other charges including obstruction of justice.
Ingram is a probation officer in Halifax County, and the husband of state Sen. Erica Smith-Ingram ( D ). He was arrested by SBI agents last Friday.
The release said the Roanoke Rapids Police Department made the request for an investigation after receiving allegations that Ingram had inappropriate relationships with his probationers.
Ingram is free on a $50,000 bond. It could not be determined if he had an attorney.
Sen. Smith-Ingram ( D ) released a statement saying she had no knowledge of the basis for the charges.

An example is Barbara LeSavoy, Director of Women and Gender Studies at the College at Brockport (a.k.a. SUNY Brockport in New York). She recently sounded off on our precious right of self-defense, the constitutional enshrinement of which has helped define our nation .
I voted for Barack Obama. Twice.
Today, I write this letter with a bleeding heart. I admire Obama. But he has let me down.
How?
By not using his pen and his phone to repeal the Second Amendment.
Firearm possession should be banned in America; President Obama can orchestrate this directive. His presidency can be remembered as a remarkable turn in United States history where a progressive leader forever changed the landscape under which we live and work.
This is his legacy.
To establish gun control laws in America that will reduce high levels of male violence and usher in a culture of peace and civility.
