You didn't retire with full benefits, rod? 35 years for your dentist is a long time. Hope he's younger than you. My Dr. is the same age as I am, as is my daughters pediatrician, really cool guys, except for my guys, finger in the butt every so often.

When you retire out of Central States you lose your dental and eye insurance. You can't imagine how good you can take care of your teeth if you don't have ins. I haven't had one cavity in the 7 yrs. I've been retired. I'm also covered under VA insurance so no one has to worry about old Rod. (except maybe pray for his liver)

Had all four wisdom teeth pulled and put to sleep. I paid $0 ! Part time in GA !

$1250 yearly limit here, 1 root canal will eat that up.

I had a root canal done last year and it didn't cost me a dime. That, and a new crown were the only major dental work I had last year and neither cost me any out of pocket.
