Has DHL going back home to Duschland had a effect on anyones routes out there?
I'v notices a 5-10 stop increase, with Airs heavy now every day since DHL is gone. Also my OCA's have jumped 3-4 a day.
Anyone else getting hit like this?

I have seen an increase in NDA letters from a paycheck company. Also, all of a sudden going to some residentials that I never went to, with pkgs from companies that I do not recall handling in the past.

I'm seeing about 5 or so additional stops per day on my route from DHL. Mostly Dell Peripherals and Nordstroms. However, my route is down a few stops because of the economy so it evens out. OCA's have picked up and many of the routes around me have new pu's that were from DHL.

I've noticed a slight bump in volume and I have a few more pick ups since DHL cut and ran off. I did see a DHL van the other day, though. It was the first I've seen in over a month. Maybe it was just a yellow van someone bought for cheap.:wink2:

I have 3 new pu accounts and last week I delivered a complete Gateway system. Also seems like the number of pieces that I take to the USPS has increased.

With out a doubt DHL's departure has had a positive impact on my route. Theres been Asurion, Dell, Gateway, Nordstrom, Anthropology, and these are just the ones off the top of my head along with the countless ones that Im not aware of. My brother is a FedEx Ground driver and when evrything hit the fan for DHL he said there was barely a notice of more volume. Ive heard from many people that we picked up the majority of thier accounts and most of thier heavy hitters.

Now that you mention it Brown, I have seen an increase in Assurion. No on Gateway but a few Nordstrom and a few more Dell pcs. We have definately had an over all increase in p/u acct's.

Seen some Nordstroms a few Dell, but I really can't tell, volume is down overall. FredXGround has gobbled up some more of our accounts around here, despite their abismal service this snowy season. I know they also got the Joann Fabrics account from Dhl, and Blair. Also took our Hana Anderson account. Its amazing what you can charge when you have virtually no labor cost. :devil3:

JoAnn Fabrics, huh? There's a JoAnn about to open up on my route. They're closing two stores and consolidating into one huge store.

I am and so is my driver. He will post under my name sometimes. Thanks for paying attention.

Yeah, I know getting a screen name here is hard to do. Thanks for clearing up the confusion about a least this one "ambiguity". It all makes sense now, Troll!

I don't think trolls have sex organs. What I don't get is how they are sharing a screen name. Makes me wonder what else they may be sharing.:anxious:
