Here's a tip. When the diad displays 20% capacity, you have exactly 15 minutes left before you go to paper.

Maybe not that long.
If you pre-record all your driver release stops before you let it turn off, than you can charge it in center when you get back and stop complete.

Do not let it turn off after you get the 20% message, it will likely not turn back on.

AKX might get a few minutes, but not long.

Here's a tip. When the diad displays 20% capacity, you have exactly 15 minutes left before you go to paper.

Some new software was recently installed which will allow the DIAD battery to last longer. Testing on this software showed a marked improvement in DIAD 4 battery life. It is hoped that this change will eliminate DIAD 4s with good batteries running out of juice on road. There will still be some cases where the battery will not get/hold a proper charge and must be replaced, but hopefully those cases are rare.
