Did The Media Visit Your Station Today?

We were directed to not talk to anyone from the media today, and, of course, threatened with termination if we did. I was told that a news crew was outside the station interviewing customers, and I'm sure this happened elsewhere as well. FedEx is mainly stonewalling...they wouldn't comment to the NY Times, and other media outlets are being similarly ignored. What a joke.

I would love to invite them to shoot some film inside the warehouse. Packages sitting in puddles, all thrown together in a big pile, and lots of rotting, stinking perishables. The smell is really bad. This would really get some attention.

So why didn't you talk to them? Could have spearheaded an exposé of the true happenings at Express.

Instant termination. This was made very clear to us by management.

That would be the next big national story. One day, if anything is going to change at Express, somebody's going to have to be willing to take the axe. Nice to see you remove yourself from the volunteers.:)

I saw the local news at the station I used to work at. The news station could not get a FedEx person to comment.

LOL. I wish you had the courage you can't find in your fellow couriers.

You're the one hiding behind the keyboard. You're on easy street bro'. You've forgotten what it's really like in the trenches. You pay my bills and I'll escort ABC News straight into the building, OK?

Hiding? I'm the easiest to find of anyone really wanted to. You haven't changed since R1a was here. Still too damn scared to make a difference but begging others to do it for you.

With as much passion you have MFE I think you could make something money wise just by exposing FedEx to ABC. You'd be a legend....

Me and any courier with seniority and half a brain took the day off today. We saw this :censored2:storm coming from a mile away. I feel bad for the people who actually have to clean up this mess.

Sure. Step into "Current Events" more often. Moderators tend to be very opinionated. We just know exactly where the proverbial "line" is.

Why do think he is a moderator? Some people love the position of authority. Mostly those with some sort of inferiority complex.
