If only there were a three digit number that one could dial which would get you directly in touch with local emergency services...
The workers do have a safe place to work , you didn't see in your video it says they have tighting security with the union workers
I'd rather worry about the UPS sniper like those two guys DC/Virginia area snipers a few years back.
That's true though. In my building....almost all members of management higher than PT sups enter through the feeder gate and park in the yard....they don't go through security.
The manner in which he took his own life (by gun) is irrelevant.
What matters...is the UPS corporate culture that caused this man to become so overwhelmed that he felt that suicide was his only option.
As far as "security" goes, there is no realistic way to prevent someone from bringing a gun into the workplace if they are determined to do so.
This why we non-mgmt have a grievance process. Due process saves lives in this current leadership climate.
Don't think for a second that mgt are the only UPSers who have to deal w/stress.
My management team wouldn't even know how to use a staple gun !!
