double shift or unemployment

I believe you also do not get pension credit for the time you take as unemployed layoff as well as ,at least here in 705, if you are on unemployed layoff for a long enough period they can release you permanently.

It says in Central States Supplemental on Page 174 section 3 continuing on to page 175 section 3 (c) if employee is laid off for a period of three (3) years or his/her length of seniority, whichever is less. I would hope to be back to work within 3 years. :)
