Driver release

I am in a metro area with a lot of apt bldgs......we are all being instructed to leave all pkgs at mailboxes as 1 stop.....any opinions on this and is it happening anywhere else?

Back when I had a route like you described I would have loved to get told this. I got so sick of the third floor stairs!
Haven't heard this here but we are always last to know.
