Driving without a CDL medical certificate

Ok, so I'm a package car driver & I have two medical certificates, one to drive for UPS & another for my class B license which expires soon. The class B I got before I was hired at UPS. My UPS certificate is valid until July 2015. My question is when my other medical certificate expires do I have to downgrade my license to a class D or will that happen automatically? Are there ramifications for driving with a class B license without that certificate?

You'll be able to keep your cdl. just give the state a copy of your ups health card so you don't lose your cdl.

Once you get a new medical card old one in dead no longer valid as long as you have medical card you can keep your cdl in maryland they want a copy at DMV of your new medical card every time its updated

you'll be ok,DMV just want something up-to-date on file.
You can even e-mail your card to the DMV(at least in the state I reside).
