Due process my *ss. It was about the chicken:censored2: senators beholden the the NRA!

NRA had nothing to do with it. As afraid of the NRA as you are it had nothing to do with it.

You do realize the NRA is composed of millions of members who all vote their own choices don't you? As much as people try to demonize the NRA the real power is the millions of individual voters.

The proposal, sponsored by Sen. Chuck Grassley ( R ) , failed to get the 60 votes for passage. The vote was 53-47.
A second proposal sponsored by Murphy ( D ) to expand the background check system for those buying guns to require checks at gun shows and for online purchases went down 44-56.
The measure was sponsored by Sen. John Cornyn ( R ), to delay gun sales to individuals included on a government terror watch list failed in a mostly party-line vote of 53-47.
Sen. Dianne Feinstein's ( D ) proposal that sought to bar all gun sales to those individuals on the terror watch list failed 47-53, for the second time .

There's even more gun owners who aren't NRA members that don't think these new laws would have accomplished anything.

Taking away right without due process is downright tyrannical.
