When I first started driving I had a package come back to a guy who ran a hotel as refused on the other end. He was a strange guy and said that he ordered it and was told if he was unhappy with it he could return it. I told him the service cross on the package said that the place he had sent it back to was out of business. Open hearing this he ran to my package car with the package and threw the package into the truck and said he wasn't taking it back. At this point in my UPS career I would probably have started laughing , but at that point years ago I had no idea what to do. I told him to get out of my truck while I called the center manager. He explained to the man that we would just send it to overgoods and that it wouldn't help him get his money back if we kept the package. The man kept the package. So to answer your question I have never had anyone take anything from the package car,but I did have to stop someone from throwing packages into the package car.
