Exactly Why The Military Budget Should Always Be on the Chopping Block

Like any other expense in gov't, if you elevate any budget idea to a lofty perch where it only sees increases and never cuts, you will only breed mis-management and mis-allocations like this which over time can cost taxpayers real money. What if that $300 million dollars had remained in the private sector economy, how many jobs over time might have been created, how many new small and medium businesses might now exist and if we quantify that level of saving by eliminating mis-allocation in the first place up and down all strata of gov't, that amount of money placed back into the hands of the private sector economy might be making the difference right now in life for so many not being so tough.

Here's another welfare scheme that should have been pruned from the dying tree of liberty a very long time ago!

Good idea.
Let's chop the military down to just enough to secure our own borders, have all those navy vessels cruise along our coasts , and see how the rest of the world copes.

Those military guys at our own borders will stop illegals and in turn stop all the $$$$ that goes to illegals and it will save the US big $$$.
