I don't get it? If the mirror didn't break, and it just was moved a bit, how can that be considered an accident? They are called break away mirrors. Did I miss something?

It was a road test for a new driver. ANY contact will result in a DQ.

If the OP were a seniority driver and there was little to no damage it would have been quickly forgotten.
