Of course we fail the keter audit. What do we expect when we do things by the book only a couple days a year when keter is in the buildings. If ups is serious about safety then they should practice it all day everyday! Ths way it would be done with little or no effort when keter shows up but that does not make business sense now does it. Like scratch said i would love to see keter show up without a days notice and see how we operate every day when they are not on property. Lets not forget who owns keter. Right now we have a huge safety problem, in order to get gas we have to back into the gas pumps to fill up everyday. Now we are talking about 400 plus routes going out everyday. Our gas pumps are being blocked by personal cars because of the overflow of extra hires so ups are having employees park within the gates in front of the pumps. I have addressed this issue with the district safety manager, building manager and feeder manager and i was told its peak! This week we have a group of drivers that are refusing to back in to get gas and we will run out of gas on route unless they give us gas cards! Its funny this company preaches safety, how would they like to go to some families house and explain to them that their father died when he backed into a gas pump. If corporate is reading this im talking about the palatine building in north ill. Time for you to step up and show us your serious about safety! If not i will be calling whoever i can osha etc on this issue!
