FedEx Corp., which handles about one-third of packages shipped in the U.S., may say tomorrow that overseas express deliveries plunged while stabilizing freight and ground volumes suggest the country’s economy may be bottoming.

FedEx’s express volumes probably fell for a 13th straight quarter, dragged down by a 20 percent or greater plunge in international shipments because of the global slowdown, estimates Helane Becker, an analyst at Jesup & Lamont in New York. The express unit is FedEx’s biggest division and accounts for two- thirds of revenue
