You are right, I was just making an observation, however it seems Fedex could do much better for those committed to stay, I mean compared to usps and ups; they do have much better pension, and wage.
True, we've been saying that for years here. They're users, and their shills who come on here are lying weasels.

Yep, mom's basement!

On duty 24/7, ready to defend Fred's honor and keep his bank account full. Actually, this guy is way cooler than Dano. I'm thinking 499 pounds of Hostess-loving goodness sitting there in his wife beater and underwear.

He comes out of the basement once a week to get more Twinkies and Mountain Dew.

Still dosen't seem like much has changed, thats why people are forming groups and petitions like this.
Petition to FedEx | FedEx Contract

This is all great, but without the Teamsters and a national campaign, zero is going to happen. If the Democrats win in November and everything gets changed around, we could at the very east see liberalization of the RLA rules.

The Express Carrier Exemption and the RLA put the ball squarely in The Weasel's hands, and Hoffa won't take him on.

The IBT still won't answer phone calls. What does that tell you?

Balless wonders who "got ours, screw you!"?
In this the age of hard line conservatism labor laws have now clearly favor big business. Therefore you can't blame the Teamsters for not wasting time and resources to launch a nationwide effort to organize Express. Going forward it will take a hell of a lot of convincing on the part of Express employees to compel the Teamsters to launch such an effort. As for the damage award mentioned earlier,. the award is on the Ground contractor and his insurer. X doesn't have a dog in the fight so why would they appeal the award?.Very simple. Back in 2009 Marsh/Protective informed X Ground that it would not write a new insurance contract for contractors. After searching the world over for a new insurer Ground had to go back to Marsh/Protective hat in and had to beg them not to go. As the transformation to ISP goes forward eventually contractors will have to find insurance for themselves.
