Sometimes they want a courier gone so bad, they may let unprocessed DG get loaded onto a plane only because this courier forgot to unload it from his truck. Who cares if a handler catches the mistake. His manager says its ok, put it on the belt. Anonymous call to the ramp and that plane has to make an "emergency landing" and just like that, the courier is fired. Putting pilots lives at risk just to get a courier fired? I've seen the courier after his firing. He seems to have lots of money these days but wouldn't comment on these rumors we heard about his ordeal.
I think you're making that up. Isn't that risking a huge fine? Cheaper just to put a hit out on the guy.

I'm not confirming or denying. This was a huge rumor 5 years ago. And one could say, this courier was on MEM's radar as well. It was not only the senior manager who wanted this courier gone. The station, at the time, was number 1 for the wrong reasons and all leads pointed to this person....rumors of course.

Unauthorized use of Company facilities, assets, or systems, including but not limited to.
Oh, wait. Your working right?

If you say I'm working, then I'm working. If you say I'm using company facilities, assets, or systems, then I'm using company facilities, assets, or systems. Neither may bear any resemblance of reality, but we can't let that get in the way, can we?

I always love the "Memphis wants a courier gone" conspiracy theories.

I've never heard of anyone getting fired for having more than one ID. Not that it matters; the old ID is disabled as soon as the new one is issued. You're supposed to turn the old one in though.

Until this year I could never keep one longer than a month. Never really had a use for it.

There is no way that would happen. That would fall back on the DG Specialist at the station who didn't do the paperwork, or the DG Specialist at the ramp.

That's basically what he's saying. They don't need some crazy plan to trump up a reason to fire a courier. They'll just fire them for something. You know you don't have to disagree with everything Dano posts, right?

Yes, I know that. But it's also common for them to set someone up, and then use 2-5 to finish them off. If you don't like the exchanges between me and The Shill...don't read them.

And another guy used a truck to get home and back to work. Only reason they caught him was due to parking tickets out of the station service area. Fired.
