20-year-old Wisconsin cheddar makes debut at $209 a pound

A Wisconsin cheesemaker is debuting a 20-year-old cheddar this week that's short in supply and big on price.

The cheddar from Hook's Cheese Co. of Mineral Point goes on sale Friday for $209 a pound. Most of the 450-pound supply is already spoken for, with orders coming in after the planned sale went public earlier this year, the Wisconsin State Journal (http://bit.ly/1FdMxpv ) reported.

Great hot dog and drink for lunch at Costco. We went with a neighbor (she belongs) and we had a great time.
I like people watching and if you want to see idiots behaving like animals....watch when the free samples start to get handed out!! You can sure teach you kids the meaning of 'rude' at that cattle call.

I don't know when this trend started exactly, but I'm against it !!

Why do folks want to take squash or zucchini and make it look like noodles for making a recipe.

Hello !! I want real noodles always - No Substitutions !!!

One recipe for spaghetti squash said to top with you favorite marinara sauce and it's just like spaghetti. Are there really people out there who are fooled by this?

Real Pasta Rules !!

The bananas look good in the store and I buy a small bunch....3-5. It never fails that some will sit on the counter 'til soft and lots of brown and banana bread is the only alternative. Now my freezer is loaded with banana bread.
This time I had 4 bananas turn soft, I peeled them, mashed them & put them into a small freezer bag for use later to make banana bread.
I'm going to lay off buying bananas for awhile.

The fruit I don't get tired of.....maybe because of their short season is cherries. Luv 'em!!
