so, what did big brown do on founders days?
We actually had cake, fruit, and water. One driver got his Circle of Honor finally awarded to him and a lot of plaques were handed out. Our Center does employee recognition every Friday. While the award catalogs are gone, at least people get mentioned for what they have done.
Its sad to see a lot of locations did nothing at all.
Corporate Atlanta . . . Passed without a whimper
Supervisors didn't even mention it. One of the drivers mentioned it and sup said "Oh, didn't even know that". What a shocker.
Our center PCM-ed sales leads and pickup compliance and safety questions...What else?
Since it fell on a Friday.... They cut some routes and gave everyone extra stops.
like nothing happened man, what a total bummer
they claim we had cake and stuff but i didnt see it
We had donuts and orange juice.
man, that is really sad. glad i retired when i did. sounds like it is not the same co. that i knew.
I honestly didnt know it was until I saw this thread
Don't feel bad ... I did not know until after the meeting had taken place. I did go around and congratulate the years of service recipients.
When I started with UPS there was no founder's day. Now that I'm retired there is no founder's day. Guess it is just something that occured and went away.
We did nothing I didn't hear a word about it...
