full time driver job

I got a call the other day to go full time.. I accepted it I was a tcd so I've already been to school and everything. Can they decline me the job even tho human resources offered it to me. I'm pending my background check now (which that will come back good). But the reason I asked is I asked a supervisor about it and they haven't heard anything on it.. does it take a little while before hr let's the center know?

They knew they were getting another full time driver just don't know who it is

I guess the question is, what do you mean the sup doesn't know anything about it. They don't know they are getting another driver, or they don't know who they are getting. The first is not really believable, the second is probable, as HR doesn't want to jump the gun if something comes up on the check.
