All the while, Bernie Sanders and other Dems are saying the Islamic terrorism is due to climate change. Said it a the debate. I can't believe this insanity exists. And coming from a presidential candidate...

Democrats continue to think that terrorism stems from poverty, and in this case a poverty as a result of it being to hot to grow crops in the desert, apparently. A complete misunderstanding of the facts.

That's not what he said.

That's not what he said.

“In fact, climate change is directly related to the growth of terrorism,” ....

“And if we do not get our act together and listen to what the scientists say, you’re going to see counties all over the world…they’re going to be struggling over limited amounts of water, limited amounts of land to grow their crops, and you’re going to see all kinds of international conflict.”

Crazy, old man. Where does he come up with this nonsense. Oh that's right, he got it from the Department of Defense:

"Persistently recurring conditions such as flooding, drought, and higher temperatures increase the strain on fragile states and vulnerable populations by dampening economic activity and burdening public health through loss of agriculture and electricity production, the change in known infectious disease patterns and the rise of new ones, and increases in respiratory and cardiovascular diseases. This could result in increased intra- and inter-state migration, and generate other negative effects on human security. For example, from 2006-2011, a severe multi-year drought affected Syria and contributed to massive agriculture failures and population displacements. Large movements of rural dwellers to city centers coincided with the presence of large numbers of Iraqi refugees in Syrian cities, effectively overwhelming institutional capacity to respond constructively to the changing service demands."

What does that have to do with Islamic extremism and terrorism? Anyone trying to connect poverty, no matter the cause, with Islamic extremism is dillusional.

Do me a favor and educate yourself on why Islamists do what they do and on what their ultimate goal is.

DriveInDriveOut, what do you disagree with? You really think ISIS exists because it's too hot in the desert? Come on now.

Radical Islamist's are purely an ideological enemy. They are not satisfied until a worldwide caliphate is achieved. To rule western civilization. We are all infidels which is completely unacceptable to them. Infidels must be killed.

Weather has nothing to do with it.

You're starting with the end game, and completely overlooking why some Muslims become radicalized in the first place.
