Lee Trevino became the first golfer in 68 years to play all four rounds of the U.S. Open golf tournament with sub-par
totals of 69, 68, 69 and 67, respectively on 16 June 1968.

Of course, we have to refer to it as the U.S. Open.....if you just call it the' Open', the Brits will all faint!!! They are the only ones who have 'The Open'.

I watched The Greatest game ever played last night on the golf channel. It was very good.

Imagine that.

Fog blowing across the course in San Francisco during the last round of the U.S. Open.

That is the City for you. It has many "micro" climates. {{{SHHH}}} The secret to visiting San Francisco is in September, October during our Indian summer. Perfect!

When the UPS guys & wives took a long weekend trip for the guys to play Pebble Beach.....I loved it because jeans & sweatshirts were the smart way to dress.....especially on the pier for lunch in Monterey. Mornings on the deck of the hotel room were 'frosty' and this was the summer! Loved the area, but not the SanFran part.....Carmel & Monterey.
